He works as a photographer, reporter, and witness to events and ways of life around the world. He produces marketing and sport materials, commercial albums, professional profiles, and both private and corporate portraits. Forno's work has brought him to many locations around the world including Africa (South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Mauritius), Central America (Cuba, Santo Domingo), and Asia (India, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Myanmar, Thailand, Russian Confederation and Turkey). He has worked for the Pastorale Missionaria of the Archibishop of Genova to produce marketing materials highlighting their developing programs abroad. In June 2006, was to prepare a photographic report of the Genovese Catholic missions in Cuba and Santo Domingo. In 2006 Forno published three books of photographs as sources for humanitarian initiatives. These include: "Arenzano: scatti quotidiani," "Sguardi Lontani: quaranta ritratti tra India e Nepal," and "Cuba: Missione di Santa Clara." In addition, his photographs from a report in Genova in 2006 have been published on the Internet website of Medecins sans Frontieres (www.msf.org) to document the activity of the organization and other reportages for Italian Red Cross and other humanitary associations. In 2008 some photos were published by Electa catalogue "Olga Napoli, paintings" and in the Two Review published by The Cool Press in Ancoraghe (USA). In 2009 he published for the editor L'arsenale Editrice in Verona the volume "The Mine" about the work and the live in the mine of Korchacol, near the city of Novokuznetzk in Siberian territories of Russian Confederation. Recently Forno has received the assignement for a reportage in Nantong ( China) to report the construction of commercial ships. Forno is a member and regional deputy for Liguria of the Italian Press - Photographers Association (A.I.R.F.), member of the Nikon Professional Service (NPSItalia), member of Reporters sans Frontieres (www.rsf.org) and member of SoPhot (www.sophot.com), french Association for social and environment photography .
